Information reaching Homebase Tv indicates that the NPP Member of Parliament for Mfantseman Constituency, Hon Ekow Quansah Hayford has been shot dead.

He was killed by unidentified gunmen while returning from a campaign at Nkusukum on the Mankessim-Abeadze Duadze road on Friday 9th October 2020 around 1:00 am dawn.

The Mfantseman NPP Constitituency first vice Chairman popularly known as Wofa Yaw confirmed the news to Homebase Tv.

The body has been deposited at the Saltpond Hospital Mortuary, while police investigation commences
