The report shared by Berla Mundi on Twitter has it that some 50 students at Accra Girls SHS have tested positive for COVID-19.
Berla Mundi says 50 students at Accra Girls SHS have tested positive for COVID-19. She said all the students that tested positive are asymptomatic.
She explained that the source of the news was from a parent who confirmed it from the school’s PTA.
Berla Mundi tweeted:
“50 students at Accra Girls SHS test positive for Covid 19. Reports indicate these girls are asymptomatic. A parent just revealed on #news360 after getting confirmation from the school’s PTA.”
Just yesterday, Archbishop Porter Girls SHS and four other schools recorded COVID-19 cases.
The NDC COVID-19 team have advised the government to shut down schools and send the final year students home before it becomes too late.
