Bless Kodjo Katamani has officially been confirmed as the new District Chief Executive (DCE) for Akatsi North in the Volta region, taking on the leadership role with a strong commitment to serve with integrity, humility, and dedication.

Following his confirmation, the 49-year-old native of Agormor-Agador expressed both gratitude and a sense of responsibility towards the people of Akatsi North. He acknowledged the challenges ahead but also highlighted the significant opportunities for growth and transformation within the district.

“I accept this role with a commitment to serve with integrity, dedication, and humility. I recognise the challenges we face, but I also see immense opportunities for growth and progress. Together, we will focus on education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, and economic empowerment to uplift our people and create a prosperous district for all,” Katamani stated.

In a passionate appeal, Katamani called for unity, stressing that development is a collective effort that requires the involvement of all stakeholders, including political leaders, civil servants, religious bodies, youth groups, and the wider community.

“Development is a collective effort, and I believe that by working together, we can achieve remarkable progress. I extend a hand of partnership to all who have joined me on this journey. Now that the contest is behind us, I urge everyone to close ranks and focus on the greater good of Akatsi North. What matters most now is the progress of our district,” he said.

Katamani also emphasised the importance of accountability and a strong commitment to the welfare of the people, calling on all factions to set aside differences and work towards the common good.
