The Asogli Te Za (Yam Festival) Concert dubbed “Time With The Stars” had over 15,000 fans thrilled at the forecourt of the White House in the Volta Regional capital of Ho.

The much-anticipated concert was put together by Events 21 and Beenie Words – both owned by multiple award-winning Ghanaian publicist, Elorm Beenie. It was funded by the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV.

The VRMG Boss, Edem delivered an electrifying performance at the concert to commemorate the annual Asogli Te Za celebrations. This year’s celebration hosted the 20th anniversary of Togbe Afede XIV’s ascension to the Asogli stool.

Sugarcane hitmaker, Camidoh, received a resounding welcome back to the streets of Ho, where he grew up. Patrons sang along to the songs he performed, which included Sugarcane, Brown Skin, Slow, and Adoley.

Fast-rising afrobeat act, Chief One sent the energetic crowd into a frenzy with his hit songs, Wotelewoea, Toyota, and Du Agbe. Patrons went agog when Keeny Ice, who raps in the Aflao slang, Adzagbe, mounted the stage, serving them with hit singles Hedze, Frazz, Gbigoro Way among others.

Cina Soul added a feminine touch to the carnival thrilling fans with a live band performance.
