HBTVGHANA gathered that popular politician Akwasi Banahene who is the National Democratic Congress (NDC), constituency financier, for Aunafo North in the Ahafo Region has presumably been shot by an unknown person.
This unbearable incident was said to have happened on Friday night in his house. Credible reports explain that the deceased was returning home from work where he eventually met his untimely death.
As we speak currently, the correspondent has made it known to us that the body has been deposited at Goaso Municipal Hospital for autopsy.
Even though the Police have been given a notice of what has happened, they are yet to pass a comment according to a close relative of the deceased.
