Former President Nana Akufo-Addo paid a visit to the residence of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba to offer condolences and sign the book of condolence opened in his honor.
He was received by family members, chief mourners, and supporters gathered at the musician’s home.
Clad in black, he observed a moment of reflection before signing the condolence book, a gesture that marked the beginning of several high-profile visits scheduled for the day.
The visit is part of a broader outpouring of tribute and public grief following the passing of the legendary artist on July 26, 2025, at the Bank Hospital in Accra.
The statesman’s visit was preceded by some Members of Parliament and NPP functionaries who had assembled outside the residence earlier to pay their respects.
Dignitaries, fans, and musicians alike continue to gather at the Lumba residence, each signing the condolence book and offering heartfelt messages of remembrance.
Daddy Lumba was a cultural icon whose voice and lyrics left a deep imprint on Ghana’s soul.
