Ahodwo Farms, in collaboration with the Mawu Klenam Foundation, has extended vital support to 30 women from the Manya, Tesanya, and Konopiem communities in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region.
The beneficiaries included widows, pregnant women, and nursing mothers, who received essential relief packages. The donation comprised bags of rice, packs of bottled vegetable oil, diapers, boxes of Dettol, bags of washing soap, and toothpaste.
Speaking before the distribution, Edna Oliver Asare, Founder of the Mawu Klenam Foundation, praised the hard work and resilience of the women in these communities.

“Their determination to care for themselves and their families, despite immense challenges, deeply touched my heart,” she said. “We must encourage and uplift them in every way possible.”
Mr Kofi Ansah, CEO of Ahodwo Farms, also reaffirmed his organisation’s commitment to the initiative.
“We are proud to be part of this worthy cause,” he stated. “I pledge to provide job opportunities and accommodation for women under the foundation’s programmes who need to work on my farm.”

Community health nurse Madam Okyere of Tortibo CHPS compound expressed heartfelt gratitude to the donors, blessing them for their generosity.
The donation exercise brought smiles and relief to many, with several beneficiaries visibly overwhelmed by the gesture.
This joint effort by Ahodwo Farms and the Mawu Klenam Foundation highlights the power of partnerships in addressing community needs and empowering vulnerable women through tangible support and sustainable opportunities.
