Africa Prosperity Network unveils Projet Afrique ahead of APD 2026 in Accra

The Africa Prosperity Network (APN) has announced the launch of Projet Afrique, a major exhibition set to take centre stage at the Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2026 in Accra, according to a statement issued by the Network.

The dialogues are scheduled for February 4–6, 2026, at the Accra International Conference Centre, with the Projet Afrique exhibition designed to showcase Africa’s innovation, creativity, and enterprise within the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Projet Afrique aligns with the APD 2026 theme, “Empowering SMEs, Women and Youth in Africa’s Single Market: Innovate. Collaborate. Trade.” It aims to highlight Africa’s economic transformation by providing a platform for entrepreneurs, innovators, and businesses to connect with investors, policymakers, and consumers from across the continent and beyond.

The exhibition will focus on four strategic sectors considered critical to Africa’s integration into the world’s largest single market: Creative Arts, Engineering and Technology, Agriculture, and the Automobile Industry.

According to APN, the initiative seeks to address longstanding barriers that limit the participation of women, youth, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in cross-border trade by offering them visibility and access to new markets.

In the Creative Arts segment, exhibitors will showcase Africa’s cultural strengths, ranging from traditional Ghanaian kente weaving to contemporary fashion and design, demonstrating the growing export potential of African culture.

The Engineering and Technology segment will feature African-led innovations in artificial intelligence, robotics, renewable energy, and software development, driven largely by young tech entrepreneurs.

The Agriculture exhibition will spotlight modern and sustainable farming practices, agro-processing innovations, advanced machinery, and climate-smart techniques aimed at boosting food security and competitiveness.

Meanwhile, the Automobile Industry showcase will highlight Africa’s emerging vehicle manufacturing capabilities, including electric and hybrid models that reflect the continent’s commitment to green mobility.

APN describes Projet Afrique as more than an exhibition, but as a marketplace of ideas and opportunity that seeks to translate AfCFTA principles into practical outcomes by accelerating industrialisation, stimulating intra-African trade, and creating sustainable livelihoods.

Commenting on the initiative, the Chief Executive Officer of the Africa Prosperity Network, Sidig Eltoum, said Africa’s future prosperity depends on the active participation of women, youth, and SMEs.

He noted that Projet Afrique would demonstrate how inclusive participation can drive the continent’s transformation and unlock opportunities for millions across Africa’s single market.

APN has opened a call for exhibitors, inviting innovators, entrepreneurs, SMEs, women-led businesses, and youth enterprises from across Africa to participate in the exhibition.
