Access Bank Ghana’s Employee Volunteering Program (EVP) Group 6 donated sporting equipment to the Ada Kyeremateng A&B Basic school in Koforidua.

The items donated include football jerseys, footballs, whistles, and other essentials. Beyond this, the group established a sports development fund, supporting the role of physical education in shaping future leaders.

This initiative aligns with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 5: Good health.

Sports play a pivotal role in promoting physical health, mental well-being, teamwork, and leadership skills among children.

By equipping the school with quality sports gear and funding opportunities for sports programs, the group ensures that students can participate in structured physical activities, contributing to their overall development.

Patron of the group and Executive Director of Retail & Digital Banking, Pearl Nkrumah emphasised the group’s mission, saying, “We believe in the transformative power of sports.
