The National Democratic Congress Party (NDC) has warned the Parliamentary Candidate for New Patriotic Party, Dr. Rashid Kwesi Etuaful in Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam Constituency in the Central Region to desist from transporting people from outside the district to come and register for the on-going voter registration exercise.

Briefing the media at the press conference at Ajumako, the NDC secretary, Mr. Andrews Kojo Dodoo stated Dr. Rashid Kwesi Etuaful has plotted to transport 2000 Students from UEW Winneba campus to Denkyire to register which is illegal.

 

Also the NPP Parliamentary candidate has been exposed by a tape recording planning to back electoral commission and military men deployed by the government to the constituency.

Again, Dr Rasid Kwesi Etuaful is heard endorsing campaign of lies against the sitting member of parliament, Hon. Caseil Ato Forson for intimidating the busing of citizens to enter the constituency to register…

Moreover, Mr Andrews Kojo Dodoo stated that the party is calling on the the opinion leaders, Nananom and the good people of Ajumako Enyan Essiam to disallow any foreigners who will come to register at any of their registration centers. He. also call on the electoral commission of Ajumako Enyan Essiam District to do their daily duties with high level of neutrality devoid of any political influence and also beseech them to adhere to the principles as an institution enshrined in the Constitution of Ghana.
