Kofi Owusu Peprah unveils ‘M’aseda’ music video featuring Diana Hamilton

Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician Kofi Owusu Peprah has released the official music video for his latest single, M’aseda, featuring renowned gospel songstress Diana Antwi Hamilton, marking another significant milestone in his contribution to contemporary gospel music in Ghana.

The highly anticipated video, released on Tuesday, 23 December 2025, is already attracting widespread attention across television networks, digital streaming platforms and social media. Gospel music enthusiasts have described the song as timely, spiritually enriching and deeply reflective, particularly as the year draws to a close.

Speaking ahead of the release, Peprah explained that M’aseda—a Twi word meaning “Thanksgiving”—was inspired by a profound personal and spiritual sense of gratitude. He noted that the song calls on believers to pause, reflect and acknowledge God’s unwavering mercies and abundant blessings, irrespective of the challenges encountered throughout the year.

“As we bring the year to a close and prepare to step into a new one, it is essential that we give thanks to God for His unfailing blessings and mercy,” he said. “Even in moments of loss and pain, Scripture reminds us to give thanks in all circumstances.”

Musically, M’aseda weaves contemporary gospel sounds with traditional Ghanaian worship elements, delivering an authentic and immersive worship experience. Its soul-stirring lyrics centre on gratitude, humility and steadfast faith—themes that resonate strongly in both personal devotion and congregational worship settings.

The collaboration with Diana Antwi Hamilton adds notable depth and spiritual intensity to the song. Celebrated for her powerful and emotive vocals, Diana complements Peprah’s heartfelt delivery with a commanding yet graceful presence, creating a seamless harmony that amplifies the song’s message. Together, their vocal synergy draws listeners into a space of sincere thanksgiving and reflection.

Peprah said the collaboration was deliberate, noting that Diana Antwi Hamilton’s ministry and musical journey closely align with the song’s core message of gratitude and faith. The chemistry between the two gospel ministers is evident throughout the track, rendering M’aseda both impactful and memorable.

Anchored firmly in biblical teachings on thanksgiving, the song echoes scriptures such as 1 Thessalonians 5:18, which urges believers to give thanks in all circumstances. Peprah explained that M’aseda is designed not only for personal listening but also for church worship sessions, praise and thanksgiving services, and moments of quiet contemplation.

Since its release, the song has enjoyed heavy rotation on radio stations nationwide and has been widely shared across digital platforms, including YouTube and other streaming services. Fans and fellow gospel musicians have praised it as a powerful reminder of faith, hope and gratitude at a time when many are reflecting on the year’s triumphs and trials.

The accompanying music video visually reinforces the song’s message, employing simple yet evocative imagery that underscores worship, reverence and thanksgiving. The visuals align seamlessly with the song’s spiritual tone, making it accessible and relatable to a broad audience.

With this release, Kofi Owusu Peprah continues to consolidate his standing as one of Ghana’s leading voices in gospel music, known for producing songs that uplift, inspire and draw believers closer to God through meaningful lyrics and refined production.

As the year comes to an end, M’aseda emerges as one of the season’s most resonant gospel releases, affirming that gratitude remains central to the Christian faith, regardless of life’s circumstances.
