The National Service Authority (NSA) has cautioned the public against a fake publication circulating on social media, falsely claiming to announce the release of a “second batch of National Students Service Postings” scheduled for Wednesday, November 5.
In a statement issued by the Authority, the NSA clarified that the purported notice—bearing the organisation’s logo and styled as an official update—did not originate from them and should be ignored.
“The said publication is false and did not emanate from the Authority,” the statement read. “We urge the general public, especially prospective National Service personnel and tertiary institutions, to disregard the contents of this fake notice and treat it with the contempt it deserves.”

The NSA further reminded the public that all official information and updates are disseminated solely through verified communication channels, including its official website (www.gnsa.gov.gh), social media handles, and authorised press releases or public statements.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and accurate communication, the Authority assured stakeholders that it would continue to provide timely and reliable updates regarding national service matters.
“We appreciate your vigilance and cooperation,” the statement concluded.
