Global jazz greats set for Jazzin’ Africa Festival in Accra on October 25

As anticipation mounts for the first-ever Jazzin’ Africa Festival, all eyes turn to the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, where on October 25 an extraordinary lineup of jazz musicians will share one stage.

The festival promises a blend of rhythm, elegance, and unity, bringing together world-class acts from across continents to celebrate the richness of African jazz.

Steve Bedi (Ghana)

At the centre of this musical celebration is Ghana’s own Steve Bedi, one of Africa’s most respected contemporary jazz musicians. Known for his soulful saxophone sound and captivating performances, Steve’s artistry transcends boundaries, carrying Africa’s heartbeat to audiences around the world.

As the visionary behind Jazzin’ Africa Festival, his mission is simple yet profound: to unite Africa through the universal language of jazz. His leadership and influence have inspired countless musicians across the continent and beyond. Having performed on some of the world’s biggest stages from Europe to the Americas, Steve now brings that global experience home to Accra. His performance will be more than a display of musical brilliance; it will be a statement of Africa’s rhythm, soul, and sophistication.

As he joins forces with Steve Bedi and other top African talents, audiences can expect an electrifying blend of American smooth jazz and African rhythm: a true harmony of continents.

Ayi Solomon (Denmark/Ghana)
