Staff of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) have paid heartfelt tribute to the late Samuel Aboagye, one of the eight victims of the Wednesday, August 6, military helicopter crash.
NADMO described him as a promising officer whose contributions were already making a difference.
“He was a promising staff member who made every person feel valued, seen, and appreciated. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate his life,” a NADMO representative at the state funeral on Friday, August 15 said on behalf of the Organisation.
Mr. Aboagye, who briefly served as Deputy Director-General in charge of protocol at NADMO before his untimely death, was remembered for his positive attitude, dedication, and growing impact within the organisation.
His colleagues noted that, despite his short tenure, his footprints were beginning to shape positive action and inspire confidence among staff.
“Although his time with us was brief, his impact will be felt forever. His greatest strength was his humility; his infectious smile made him well approachable and unforgettable. He worked alongside everyone, opened his door for all, and offered encouragement,” the NADMO representative said.
