Tottenham Hotspur forward, Brennan Johnson has spoken highly of Mohammed Kudus, saying the Ghanaian has made an immediate impression since joining the North London club.
Kudus joined Spurs this summer after a standout season at West Ham, where he impressed with his creativity, versatility, and eye for goal.
His arrival comes as Tottenham prepare for a return to the UEFA Champions League and aim to compete strongly on all fronts.
“I’ve been really impressed with him since he came in. Really nice guy as well,” Johnson said in an interview with football reporter Alasdair Gold.
“Last season there were quite a few games where I don’t think we even had 11 first-team players,” Johnson admitted.
“Getting as much quality as we can is important and it is what we need because we are in the Champions League and want to go far in all competitions.”
He added that, “It wasn’t just a one-off thing. We want to be in the Champions League every year. We need the quality and depth in the squad.
“We are getting there. Hopefully we can stay fit this season and it gives us the best chance to compete in all competitions.”
Kudus adds to the growing list of attacking options for Spurs, and Johnson believes his presence will only make the team stronger.
