Ghanaian procurement and supply chain firm, Procura Global Sourcing Ltd, has been honoured with two prestigious awards at the 7th Africa Procurement & Supply Chain Summit & Awards 2025, held at the Oriental Hotel in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.

The company received the “Young Procurement CEO of the Year” award for its Managing Director, Nii Obodai Doku, and was also awarded “Procurement & Supply Chain Service Provider of the Year”, cementing its growing reputation as one of the continent’s most promising firms in the sector.

Hosted annually, the summit is one of the most influential gatherings in Africa’s procurement and supply chain calendar — attracting top industry players, regulatory authorities, and business leaders across the continent. The recognition highlights Procura’s impact in delivering strategic procurement, sourcing, and advisory services.

Speaking on the company’s dual win, Nii Obodai Doku expressed gratitude and reinforced Procura’s commitment to driving efficiency, transparency, and innovation in procurement systems across Africa:

“This recognition isn’t just a win for Procura — it’s a win for Ghana’s procurement and supply chain ecosystem. We remain committed to empowering organizations with smarter sourcing solutions that support long-term value creation and sustainable growth.”

Founded with a mission to bridge the gaps in sourcing, vendor management, and procurement system optimization, Procura Global has successfully delivered procurement solutions to organizations such as the United Nations in Ghana, Jospong Group, Ghana Cocoa Board, and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC).

With services spanning Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Advisory, Business Process Outsourcing, and Corporate Support Services, the company is positioned as a trusted partner to development agencies, government institutions, and multinational corporations navigating complex procurement environments in Africa.

Beyond business, Procura is equally committed to impact. Its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives are focused on uplifting women and children through education, skills training, and access to economic opportunities — underscoring the company’s belief in procurement as a vehicle for social transformation. Each year, 5% of the company’s net profit is dedicated to funding these initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive, long-term development.

Procura’s latest achievement at the 2025 summit reinforces its role in shaping the future of procurement in Africa and signals the rise of homegrown excellence in a space long dominated by international firms.
