The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into the ‘fake gunshot incident’ of Shatta Wale.

The primary investigation by the Ghana Police indicates that the gunning incident was a hoax.

Following that, the police issued a statement stating that they had initiated an inquiry into the allegation, which included making contact with some of his near and dear ones, all of whom claim to be unaware of his location or the alleged occurrence.

Marking the onset of the inquiry, police have detained a number of people for their apparent involvement in the ‘phoney’ shooting attack.

1. Bishop Stephen Akwasi (Jesus Ahoufe)

The first person arrested by the authorities was Ghanaian prophet Jesus Ahoufe of the New Life Kingdom Chapel.
The prophet was scooped up at the offices of Accra Fm on Tuesday for an interview with radio presenter Nana Romeo, according to a viral video posted on Adom FM online.
