President and Country Director of Future Leaders Model United Nations, Ghana (Future Leaders MUN-Ghana), Prince Anuwar-Sadat Amadu, represented Ghana at the 2025 United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Partnership Forum held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, USA.

The event, centered on “Advancing Sustainable, Inclusive, Science- and Evidence-Based Solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,” brought together global stakeholders to discuss innovative partnerships in addressing pressing development challenges.

Prince Sadat shared insights on FLMUN-Ghana’s impactful initiatives, highlighting the organization’s efforts in climate action, youth empowerment, and global diplomacy.

He underscored the need for strategic partnerships that bridge policy frameworks with grassroots action, emphasizing how young leaders must play a central role in climate adaptation, education, and economic empowerment. His advocacy aligned with SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals, which was a key focus of the forum.

The ECOSOC Partnership Forum reinforced the importance of inclusive collaborations in tackling Climate Resilience (SDG 13), Gender Equality (SDG 5), and Sustainable Economic Growth (SDG 8). Building on the Pact for the Future, which was endorsed at the 2024 Summit of the Future, the discussions centered on strengthening multi-stakeholder engagement to drive sustainable development forward.

Future Leaders MUN-Ghana’s projects, including Tree Planting, Clean Energy Adoption, Waste Management Campaigns, Diplomacy, Social Works, Entrepreneurship and Leadership Training programs, were presented as successful models of youth-led community-driven transformation.

As Future Leaders MUN-Ghana looks to the future, the organization remains committed to expanding its reach beyond Ghana and Africa, fostering global partnerships, and mobilizing resources for sustainable development and climate-smart initiatives.

Prince Sadat reaffirmed his commitment, stating in a social media post: “As President and Country Director for Future Leaders Model United Nations, Ghana (FLMUN-Ghana), it was a great honour to participate in the 2025 United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Partnership Forum at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, USA. I shared our organization’s impact in climate action, youth empowerment, and global diplomacy, emphasizing the need for strategic partnerships to bridge policy and grassroots action.

Prince Sadat, a distinguished professional with a Master’s degree in International Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in Law, has garnered recognition for his exceptional leadership, philanthropy, and advocacy for vulnerable populations.

His extensive experience in international relations and diplomacy includes representing Ghanaian youth at global platforms such as the World Petroleum Council Congress in Houston, Texas, USA, and the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, UK.

He has also undergone specialised training in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Solutions for Infrastructural Construction in China as well.
