Renowned legal scholar and academic Tsatsu Tsikata, Esq., is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the 14th Leadership Dialogue Series hosted by the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) on August 28, 2024.
The event will occur at the University of Ghana’s School of Law Auditorium, starting at 6:00 pm.
Mr. Tsikata’s “Can Ghana Rise from the Ashes?” address will delve into the systemic challenges hindering Ghana’s progress and propose strategic pathways for national recovery.
His keynote is expected to stimulate in-depth discussions on governance, economic transformation, and human development in Ghana.
The event will feature a documentary that presents Ghanaians’ experiences, hopes, and aspirations, from youth to older people.
This visual narrative aims to enrich Mr. Tsikata’s recommendations by offering a multi-generational perspective on the nation’s challenges and opportunities.
Additionally, the dialogue will address ongoing debates about Ghana’s historical narrative, particularly questioning the current government’s interpretation of critical historical events.
Dr Christina Amoako-Nuama, a former Minister for Environment, Science, and Technology and a two-time Senior Presidential Advisor, will chair the event, further enhancing her involvement.
The Centre for Social Justice is dedicated to advancing progressive social change and advocating for people-centred development in Ghana.
The Leadership Dialogue Series serves as CSJ’s flagship civic education platform. Through discussions with influential national figures, it aims to foster mass political participation and nurture patriotic values.
This event is a unique opportunity for those interested in Ghana’s future and its trajectory toward sustainable growth. It’s a privilege to be part of this significant dialogue, and we look forward to your active participation.
