MODEC Production Services Ghana JV Limited (MPSG) has contributed significantly to education by donating furniture valued at GHC520,000 to Anum Presby Senior High School in Anum Boso, Eastern Region.
The donation, presented on July 5, 2024, by MODEC’s managing director, Theophilus Ahwireng, includes 500 bunk beds, 300 mono classroom desks, dining hall tables, and benches. This initiative aims to enhance the learning environment and support the academic success of the school’s 3,000 students and 169 staff members.
Rev. Richard Adjei, headmaster of Anum Presby SHS, expressed gratitude for MODEC’s generous contribution, highlighting its transformative potential for the school. He also acknowledged Madam Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah of GES for facilitating the connection with MODEC amid water supply issues and infrastructure needs.
MODEC’s commitment to education underscores its belief in fostering community development through enhanced educational facilities. The donation is expected to improve the academic experience and outcomes at Anum Presby SHS, aligning with MODEC’s broader social investment goals.
Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah, representing GES, conveyed appreciation for MODEC’s support and encouraged students to cherish and maintain the newly donated furniture.
