Atadika’s chocolate journey has been different from your typical cocoa-dusted path. Born in Ghana but raised in New York, she envisioned a doctor’s coat, not a chef’s apron. In 2014, Atadika took a leap of faith. Leaving the UN behind, she returned to Ghana and embraced her culinary calling. Midunu, meaning “Come Let’s Eat” in Twi, was born. It wasn’t just a company but a mission to celebrate Africa’s vibrant flavors through handcrafted chocolates infused with exotic West African spices like the beloved prekese.
