Management of Nhyira FM, a Kumasi-based subsidiary of the Multimedia Group, is initiating several social projects at orphanages in the Ashanti region.

The legacy projects, starting in 2024, are aimed at leaving imprints and impacting lives in line with the company’s corporate social responsibility of uplifting communities.

This was revealed by the management of the station at this year’s ‘Nhyira Abodoo’ charity event. It was a joyous moment at the forecourt of Nhyira FM as beneficiaries from less-endowed homes were gifted and fed by the Kumasi business unit of The Multimedia Group.

Scores of benevolent individuals and groups thronged the premises of the station and donated assorted items and money to aid the annual ‘Nhyira Abodoo’ philanthropic activity.

Twenty-five orphanages in the Ashanti region shared among them 150,000 Ghana cedis as well as clothes, food, drinks and confectioneries.

The ‘Nhyira Abodoo’ project is an annual support scheme of Nhyira FM to empower the less-privileged in society.

The event left many beneficiaries, including children, the physically challenged, widows and widowers with smiles.
