Africa’s youngest Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister, Emma Inamutila Theofelus would travel from Namibia to participate in the 6th Volta Trade and Investment Fair in Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana.

She would join a host of other dignitaries who would grace the fair scheduled from Sunday, November 26, to Sunday, December 10, 2023, at the Jubilee Park.

27-year-old Ms. Theofulus who serves as the Deputy Minister of Information Communication Technology and Member of Parliament for Endola Constituency in Namibia, was invited by the planning committee to grace the fair, as one of the special guests.

She is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the 2nd Volta Young Entrepreneurs Summit on Saturday, December 2 in Ho, pay courtesy calls to some traditional rulers, and visit various tourist sites.

The Eastern, Volta & Oti Regional Chairman of the Association of Ghana Industries, Dela Gadzanku, said the move is aimed at deepening the bilateral ties between the two commonwealth nations.

He is optimistic Ms. Theofulus’s presence and engagements would serve as an inspiration to the youth to aspire for greater heights and not be deterred by their age.
