Below is the synopsis of the story:
Laura marries Mario, unaware of his marriage to Veron, an ambitious woman who left Mario to pursue a career abroad.
Veron returns, reveals Mario’s secret to Laura, and tries to win him back. Laura decided to break up with Mario, but he promises to make things right by having his marriage to Veron annulled.
Unfortunately, Mario is killed in an accident before the annulment is finalised, leaving Laura without the legal right as his wife. Veron blames Laura for Mario’s demise and promises to make her life miserable.
Years later, Laura’s daughter with Mario, Clarisse, lands a job as Veron’s assistant. Old grudges revived when Veron finds out about Clarisse’s relationship with Laura. She plots her revenge to have the daughter suffer for her mother’s sin.
