AnLPG Gas tanker filled with Gas, and with Registration number, GN 7453-15 from Accra caught fire at Mampong-Akwapem in the Akwapem-North Municipality. The incident happened exactly in front of the Mampong Akwapem Presbyterian SHS school gate.
Students in the school (including SHS 3’s writing WASSCE, and Form 2’s writing End of Semester Exams), Teachers, EC officials embarking on Voters Registration Exercise in the school, etc have to flee for their dear lives.

As we speak, the timely intervention of the Ghana National Fire Service, brought the fire under control, and ensured that there is no loss of life and property
Sections of the vehicle, has, however, got burnt.
