13th commemorative Adua for late former Veep Aliu Mahama set for Nov. 16

The family of the late former Vice President, Aliu Mahama, will on Sunday, November 16, 2025, hold the 13th Commemorative Adua in his honour.

The solemn Islamic prayer service will take place at No. 4 Switchback Road, Cantonments, beginning at 9 a.m.

The event will bring together family, friends, political leaders, and members of the Muslim community to remember and pray for the late statesman, who served Ghana with dedication and humility.

The Adua, which is a key Islamic rite held in remembrance of the departed, will reflect on the enduring legacy of Alhaji Aliu Mahama as a leader who championed discipline, unity, and national development.

Special Guest for the occasion will be the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, who will lead prayers and deliver a message of reflection and peace.
