Soccer Update: Ghana loses to Tunisia (2019 AFCON)
Coach Kwasi Appiah and the Ghanaian team, some would say, did everything tactically possible to cross the hurdle presented by Tunisia, but as bad luck would have it, opposite expectations transpired.
Others, I am sure, are lacing up their boots to enter onto the field of criticisms to give it to the coach and the playing body in a constructive manner.
There are several others who have readied their acidic tongues to heap insults on the team and their technical handlers.
In all these, we need to take an introspective look at our football in order to rectify all the anomalies that have brought our game down on its knees.
It is painful to lose out at this time when we expectantly looked forward to seeing the team progress to the next level.
At this juncture, it would be unwise to attempt to keep at bay the concerns of the teeming supporters of the Black Stars who feel let down as a result of the outcome of the game.
Let’s allow the criticisms, but the way forward is of paramount importance to the future success of Ghana in such competitions.
