Odeneho Akosua FIMA Dwaben, the Queen of Dormaa Traditional Area has made a passionate appeal to the ancestral spirits of Aduana to deal with any person who plans evil against His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and His government during a sod cutting ceremony of Ghana Secondary cities Project Programme
The secondary cities project is a World Bank sponsored programme which is aimed at providing developmental projects and capacity building in some selected Municipalities and Metropolis across the Country.
The three(3) Municipalities benefitting from the projects through the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development in the Bono Region are : Sunyani Municipal Assembly, Dormaa Municipal Assembly and Berekum East Municipal Assembly.

The first phase of the programme within the Municipalities will ensure proper electricity and lightening systems and other facilities.
Hon Evelyn Ama Kumi-Richardson, the Bono Regional Minister has broken the ground for the commencement of the projects in the various Municipalities.
The Ghana Secondary cities Support Programme which is funded by the World Bank is an initiative under the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development with the sole objective to improve Urban management and basic Urban Services in Participating Municipal Assemblies.
The sod cutting ceremony begun from the Lorry Station at Dormaa Municipal at exactly 9 o’clock this morning.
The Dormaa Municipal project is for the construction of Ultra Modern Transport Terminal at the cost of 3, 868,621.61ghc.
Odeneho Akosua Fima Dwaben, the Queen mother of the Dormaa Traditional Council used the occasion to thank His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government for the Major developmental projects at Dormaa East, Dormaa West and Dormaa Central Constituencies.
