The show was written and directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso, who brought Dede to the screens.

She revealed she brought back some actors from her first telenovela ‘Dede’ whom viewers loved and hoped to see again someday.
Shirley Frimpong-Manso noted that although working with a big cast for this drama, she was thankful to her team for joining her in pulling off the drama.
“I always say you have to love this job to actually do it and do it well. We are writing this story with a big cast with complex stories and it all has to nicely connect. It’s madness but it is good madness,” she said on Friday.
