The newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ketu South, Nicholas Worlachie, has reiterated his full commitment to driving President John Dramani Mahama’s reset agenda across the municipality, promising to spearhead inclusive development that addresses the real needs of the people.
Mr. Worlachie made this assurance during a courtesy visit paid to him by chiefs and residents of Agbozume Degbekope, who had come to officially congratulate him on his appointment and confirmation as the President’s representative in the area.
He used the occasion to emphasize that the Reset Agenda—a development blueprint anchored on restoring hope, rebuilding institutions, and revitalizing the economy—will be implemented with a strong focus on grassroots participation, traditional leadership collaboration, and transparency.

“The Reset Agenda is not just a political vision. It is a social contract with the people. And its success depends on all of us—traditional authorities, youth groups, civil society, and every resident of Ketu South,” Mr. Worlachie stated.
The MCE highlighted key priority areas under the Reset Agenda for Ketu South, including infrastructure development, education, health, youth empowerment, and job creation, and called on stakeholders to rally behind the common goal of transforming the municipality into a model district in the Volta Region.
Leading the delegation from Agbozume Degbekope, Dr. Christopher Amehoe, Registrar of Ho Technical University and an illustrious son of the community, commended the MCE and expressed the group’s confidence in his leadership.

“We believe Mr. Worlachie is the right man for the job. His passion and commitment to service are not in doubt, and we’re confident he will work hard to uplift the lives of our people,” Dr. Amehoe remarked.
The visit also symbolized the growing collaboration between local government authorities and traditional leadership in ensuring that development initiatives are rooted in community priorities and local knowledge.
Mr. Worlachie, in return, thanked the chiefs and residents for their goodwill and pledged to operate an open-door policy, assuring that no community will be left behind as the Reset Agenda takes shape in Ketu South.
