COVID-19 Pandemic: Railways Development Ministry fights virus
The Ministry of Railway Development headed by Hon. Joe Ghartey has donated items worth thousands of cedis to the Chiefs, Municipal and District Assemblies of the Eastern Region.
The Ministry and it’s allies embarked on the gesture to help government and other concerned partners in the fight against the novel virus.
The Railways Development Ministry and the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council headed by the Minister, Eric Kwakye Dafour visited the Traditional Authorities of the region and Assemblies to donate items in the fight.
The visit took the team to Akwamufie, Asuogyaman Assembly, Lower Manya Assembly and the Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly. Traditional Councils within the enclave were also empowered with items in the fight.

The Minister who doubles as the MP for Essikado Ketan, Hon Joe Ghartey during most of his presentations said government is working hard to sustain lives of Ghanaians since live is very precious than anything thing in the era of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
On his Part, the Regional Minister Hon. Eric Kwakye Darfour advised the citizenry on the need to adhere to precautionary measures in fighting the canker.
