Free Port Services Under my presidency – Osofo Kyiri Abosom
The founder and leader of Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews, also known as “Osofo kyereabosom” has said when given the mandate as president port services will be free.
Speaking during the launch of his party’s manifesto, Osofo kyereabosom emphatically stated that, prices of goods and services are high making citizens bear the economic heat.
According to him all these are happening as a result of high cost of import duty charges at the various ports in the country.
He said Ghana is fortunate to be blessed with all kinds of mineral resources as compared to a country other countries.
He added that he will make small scale mining (galamsey) legal for all to engage, but will see to it that our water bodies are well protected from being polluted.
He said he will not allow foreigners to take over our mineral businesses as we have witnessed over the years.
Our core mandate is to create job opportunities to the youth, however certificate will not be a standard for application for employment but only intelligent and brilliants will be regarded. He added.
We have people in the country who can boost of acquiring all the certificates in the world but are not productive enough to help move the country forward.
