COVID-19: Rev. Obofour donates GHC100,000 to Tema General Hospital

Founder and leader of Anointed Palace Chapel, Rev. Obofour has donated GHC100,000 and other items to the Tema General Hospital to aid in the fight against the novel coronavirus.

Some of the items donated to the hospital are hand sanitizers, soaps, veronica buckets, tissues, and hospital beds.

In his company was the Director of Security at Kotoka International Airport VVIP section and the Parliamentary hopeful for Kpone Kantamanso, Hopeson Adorye.

Many individuals and organisations have supported various hospitals in the country with cash and items to help assist government’s fight against the pandemic.

While government has established a Coronavirus Alleviation Programme to help support businesses and households, the private sector has also launched the Ghana Private Sector COVID-19 Fund as part of efforts to financially assist government fight the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

The fund is expected to partly finance government’s interventions and equip the Ghana Health Service and supply chain amenities to facilitate the course against the virus.
