The town of Prampram came alive on Saturday, June 14, 2025, as Digitally Done hosted the first-ever Community Digital Fair (CDF). A bold initiative aimed at introducing children and young adults in underserved communities to the vast possibilities of the digital world. Held at the Anglican Cluster of Schools, the fair attracted students, parents, educators, tech professionals, and community leaders.

The Community Digital Fair (CDF) is the flagship outreach event of Digitally Done, a Ghanaian events marketing and communications company on a mission to bridge the digital divide. Through hands-on exhibitions, live tech demos, digital workshops, and creative showcases, the fair demystified digital tools and showcased how technology can solve real-life problems in health, education, sanitation, agriculture, and commerce. Founder of Digitally Done, Richard Adonteng Nkansah, emphasized the purpose behind the event:

“CDF was designed to spark curiosity, not just to inform. In these children, we saw raw excitement, proof that when you present knowledge in the right way, it becomes fuel for dreams. Our goal is to inspire communities to believe in a future shaped by digital access and innovation.”

The fair received strong support from the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ningo-Prampram, Mr. Raphael Nartey, who lauded the initiative in his address:

“The Community Digital Fair is more than an event, it is a necessary intervention. In this digital age, no community should be left behind. I applaud Digitally Done for taking this bold step to empower our youth. This is how we build a resilient, forward thinking generation.”

Attendees engaged with tech innovators, explored educational software, interacted with robotics, and learned about online safety and digital career pathways. The fair also featured a children’s creative zone and panel discussions on how technology can be harnessed to improve life in rural Ghana.
