Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, has assured that arrears owed to beneficiaries of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCo) will be settled soon.
Speaking at a media encounter in Accra on August 25, Bawumia confirmed that he has already discussed the issue with Finance Minister Dr. Amin Adam and will continue to follow up.
“NABCo employees will be paid. It was a good program; some participants have transitioned into permanent jobs.
I have discussed this with the Minister of Finance, and we will ensure the payments are made,” Bawumia stated.
