Adwoa Sarfo cuts Sod for the Construction of NHIS Office and Fire Station
The Member of Parliament for the Dome- Kwabenya constituency and the Deputy Majority leader, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo has cut sod for the construction of an office for the National Health Insurance Scheme and Fire station in her constituency.
Addressing the media, Hon. Adwoa Sarfo said the existing NHIS office in the area is extremely small to contain large number of people making operations difficult and the delivery of its services restricted.

She said the constituency is one of the fastest growing areas with a large population size, therefore the need to construct the new Office in the constituency.
According to the lawmaker, the edifice will be having chambers including reception, general office, documents control room, MIS office, accounts office, manager’s office, conference room and other amenities including vehicle parking area for patrons.
She added that the spirit of the ceremony will enforce the broader objective of government’s commitment to provide infrastructure for the delivery of effective healthcare nationwide, and more especially contributing towards the achievement of the sustainable Development Goal 3, thus Good Health and Well-Being.
The Deputy Majority leader used the platform to account for her gains in the constituency.
