Accra’s premier business towers unite for landmark Corporate in Motion wellness festival

Three of the city’s top Grade A commercial centres — Accra Financial Centre, Stanbic Heights and the Standard Chartered Building — teamed up to host the maiden Corporate in Motion, a wellness-focused event promoting healthier lifestyles and stronger workplace communities.

The collaboration marks the first time a wellness festival of this scale has been jointly delivered across the three properties, all managed by Broll Ghana Ltd.

The initiative also spotlights their landlords — Agridev Real Estate Ltd, Fairllop Property Developers Ltd and Clubhouse Ghana Ltd — as key champions of corporate wellbeing in Ghana’s commercial real estate space.

Designed as a tenant-centred programme, the event aimed to create an environment where wellness is prioritised, community spirit thrives, and the workforce feels energised and valued.

Tenants, employees, partners and members of the wider community embraced the vision, turning the maiden edition into a vibrant celebration of collaboration.

Held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, Corporate in Motion attracted more than 500 participants. Activities included a 10km run and walk from Accra Financial Centre to Stanbic Heights, a 5km run and walk via Independence Avenue, a 10km cycling experience along the same route and a serene Yoga on the Tower session at the Stanbic Heights rooftop.

The event ended with an award ceremony, with Accra Financial Centre crowned Overall Best Tower for its outstanding participation and team spirit.

Ahead of the event, staff and tenants participated in a month-long Step Count Challenge that encouraged daily physical activity and camaraderie.

The highest step count went to Edward Nii Adu Armah, who was recognised for his commitment.

Reflecting on the success of the maiden edition, Janet Ghartey, Senior Property Manager for the three buildings, said:

“Corporate in Motion represents more than a wellness event. It reflects our promise to create workplaces where people feel valued, energised and connected.

“Our tenants are at the heart of everything we do, and this initiative forms part of our continuous effort to build strong corporate communities that prioritise health, productivity and collaboration.

“We are grateful to our landlords, partners, sponsors and participants for believing in this vision and helping us bring it to life.”

The event’s impact was strengthened by the support of key sponsors, including Broll Ghana Ltd, Samsung Ghana, DHL, The Bank Hospital, the Accra Metropolitan Assembly and Decathlon Ghana.

Their contributions enriched the participant experience and amplified the call for a more active corporate culture.

Lyf Arena also supported the execution of the programme and was acknowledged for its operational role.

With this successful debut, Accra Financial Centre, Stanbic Heights and the Standard Chartered Building have set a new benchmark for workplace wellness in Ghana’s corporate space.

Together with their landlords and partners, they remain committed to nurturing a thriving corporate community where wellbeing is not only prioritised but celebrated.
