2023 AFCONQ: Kotoko’s Franck Etouga set for maiden Cameroon call up
Ghana Premier League’s leading top scorer, Franck Mbella Etouga is set to receive his maiden call-up to Cameroon’s national team, according to reports in Cameroon.
The Asante Kotoko forward has been the leading marksman in the league this season after netting 19 goals in 24 games.
The 20-year-old is set to be called up by head coach Rigobert Song for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
With six games to go until the end of the Premier League season, Mbella is three goals shy of Ishmael Addo’s record tally of 22 goals in a single Ghana Premier League season.
