Member of Parliament for Kumbungu Constituency, Ras Mubarak, is calling on the Akufo-Addo government to take action against the US Embassy and Ambassador Robert Jackson over last week’s racist attack on Africans by American President Donal Trump.
Ras Mubarak argued that since the US Ambassador to Ghana represents the interest of his President Donald Trump, he should also be made to feel the heat of the fire.
Ras Mubarak was speaking on Zylofon 102.1 FM last Friday on Blakk Rasta’s Taxi Driver Show.
According to Ras Mubarak, Donald Trump has triggered hatred among Africans and the white race since his shameful comment was reckless.
“The US Ambassador must leave the county or face sanctions since he represents President Donald Trump. If not for government duties, I personally have made a vow never to go to America again; For now I will perform my government related duties and that will end there,” Ras Mubarak who appeared upset told Blakk Rasta.
Meanwhile the US Ambassador to Ghana has come out to state that his country USA have great respect for the African people but did not agree with Donald Trump in a statement issued by the Embassy over the weekend.
Donald Trump has come under fire after it was reported by the Washington Post that Trump had called some nations on the continent ‘shithole countries.’
According to Democratic Senator, Dick Durbin, Trump, during a meeting at the White House to consider migrant policies, said, “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?”
The alleged remarks were said to have also been made in reference to Haiti and El Salvador.
President Trump has since rejected the claims against him in a series of tweets but White House communicators have however failed to categorically deny that he made those comments.
