Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Steve Pollack says he is gleeful his side has made it to the final of the 2017 MTN FA Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors defeated Medeama SC by 1:0 in the semifinals of this year’s MTN FA Cup at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium on Monday.
Kotoko’s victory has set up a titanic clash with their bitterest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak, who humbled Wa All Stars by 2:1 in the other semi-final clash earlier on Sunday.
“We are in the final and we will see how things will go.” He told the press.
“For now we will focus on our league matches.” He added.
The Tamale Sports Stadium will host the grand final on Sunday, October 29.
Kotoko last won the FA Cup in 2014 when they defeated Inter Allies.
