Team manager of Hearts of Oak, Nii Sabahn Quaye has confirmed that his outfit will depart from Accra on Saturday morning for Tamale by air.
The two most glamorous clubs will renew their rivalry as they battle it out at the finals of the MTN FA Cup at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Sunday.
“We will leave Accra for Tamale by air on Saturday morning,” Quaye told Ghanacrusader.com.
“My wish is that we leave by road so after beating Kotoko for the trophy we will come and celebrate in Kumasi, but the management has decided and we will leave by air. We will surely return to Accra with the trophy.”
The last time the Phobians won the FA Cup was 17 years ago when they defeated Okwawu United 2-0.
Meanwhile, referee Latif Adaari has been handed the mantle to officiate the finals of the FA Cup final between the two giants.
