Mahama solicits for funds for 420k filling fee.
Some grass root supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have on Monday, 3 November 2018 queued at the office of former President John Dramani Mahama at Cantonments, Accra to contribute their little to fund the former president’s GHS400,000 filing fee.
According to Mr Jallo, his decision to support the former president is borne out of love for him coupled with his ability to win political power for the NDC in the 2020 elections.
Apart from the 603, the immediate-past Ashaiman Constituency Chairman of the NDC, Shaddad Umar Jallo, has also promised to pay half of the GHS400,000 filing fee for former president John Mahama.
This comes as MPs for Mahamma , a group of 96 Minority Members of Parliament who have declared their support for Mr Mahama’s bid to run for the NDC flag bearer slot ahead of the 2020 general elections, has so far mobilised 603 pledges of GHS1,000 each towards footing the filing fees of Mr Mahama.
