Head coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah is not worried about the omission of Black Stars players from the final three of the CAF player of the year.
Ghanaian duo, Christian Atsu and Thomas Partey couldn’t make the cut after they shortlisted in the 30 man list which was released CAF.
Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyung made the top three for the award and Kwesi Appiah is not worried about the exclusion of Ghanaian players from the final three for the prestigious diadem.
“Not at all, I am not worried, I always say we are still building the team, yes we have some young and good players in the team,” he told Class FM.
“It is obvious the three players all deserve to be nominated.”
