“KWASI NYANTAKYI WAS CAUGHT BY HIS GREED” – OLOBOI COMMODORE

General manager for Accra Great Olympics, Oloboi Commodore has suggested Former president of the Ghana football association, Kwasi Nyantakyi let himself down following his own lust for money.

When asked if he felt whether Kwasi Nyantakyi was entrapped, Mr. Commodore told Nana Yaa Boaponsem the host of The Lens a socio-political show on Homebase TV that Nyantakyi knew exactly what he was in for but only blinded by his selfishness.
“When hunters go hunting, they usually bait their preys with what like, you can’t catch a rat by baiting it with pepper but you look for what it likes.Kwasi Nyantakyi was wooed with money because they knew he couldn’t resist.” he said.

Kwasi Nyantakyi in his resignation from the Ghana football association cited he was deceived by scammers he thought were interested in investing in Ghana.
“It stemmed out of the controversies generated by investigative report of Tiger Eye PI. In the said report I committeed a series of errors of indiscretion. I gravely associated the highest office of the land –the presidency- with private discussions I had with ‘Scammers’ who deceived me into thinking they were genuine persons interested in investing in our country.”

The former Gfa president has hence resigned from his position as WAFU zone B chairman and also vacated his post on the FIFA council. Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI, following their investigative piece dubbed ‘Number 12’ sought to eradicate the rot in African football and caught the Gfa president deeply rooted in the center.
