The headmaster of Tanoso RC JHS in the Techiman municipality of the Brong Ahafo Region, Mr Prince Appiah has bemoaned the high usage of Tramadol tablets in his area.
According to him, the students use the medicine to boost their capacity to learn for long hours.
This however turn out to affect them negatively making it difficult for the students to be controlled by teachers .
Speaking to journalists at a PTA meeting today, Mr Appiah urged parents ensure that, their wards especially those in final year do not use Tramadol for studies.
Mr Prince Appiah also charged parents to advice their wards to take advantage of the free SHS.
Tramadol is used to treat moderate to severe pain.
