Ghana is fighting Poverty gradually – MP, Bole Bamboi
The Ghanaian government is seriously fighting poverty gradually to make sure the phenomenon is reduced to the barest minimum for the betterment of the ordinary citizenry.
“Comparing other African Countries one could see that Ghana is seriously making frantic efforts to reduce the canker which is a burden to many countries including developed ones”
The Deputy Ranking Member on the Poverty Reduction Strategy Committee in Parliament, Hon. Yusif Sulemana, made this known on Homebase TV on a programme dubbed Mmrahy3 Badwam.
He was speaking to the Host RSM Kofi Doe Lawson to educate the viewing populace on how the committee is working tirelessly to minimize the canker in Ghana.
Hon. Yusif said the committee works passionately devoid of partisan politics since poverty knows no boundary and must be tackled in a nationalistic form for the benefit of Ghana.
He said Poverty cannot be eradicated entirely adding that Countries like United States of America and the likes are still fighting the issue after all their gains.
The Bole Bamboi Legislature said other Countries are fighting what is termed extreme hunger and poverty enumerating that Ghana as a Country has moved passed that stage and still soldiering on for the betterment of the citizenry.
The Deputy Ranking Member said “all we can do is to reduce it to the barest minimum since it cannot be eradicated totally”.
