Facelift of Ghana Missions cost $500 million

The government of Ghana has allocated $500million to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to give the ministry a face lift.

This was disclosed by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam Adoagyire Constituency, Frank Annor Dompreh during a Parliamentary proceeding on November 28, 2017.

According to him, the Akufo-Addo led administration has invested into Foreign Missions to show Ghanaians how serious it has taken the brand ‘Ghana’.

He revealed that, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is making the country globally competitive in foreign missions.

“The government with wonderful leadership has shown strategic partnership agreement in making sure that a New Foreign Affairs Ministry is built under Akufo-Addo’s administration”

There has been an influx of Head of States in Ghana because the foreign missions of the Akufo-Addo led administration is globally recognized and acknowledged.

In less than a week, the Queen of Denmark, Margrethe II of Denmark and the Prime Minister of Italy, Paolo Gentiloni has visited Ghana.
