The General Overseer of House of Miracle (HOM) church, Sampson Amoateng has asked Ghanaians not to condemn the 90’s Badgyal, Ebony Reigns for the way she has decided to promote her music brand.
He said this in an interview with RSM Kofi Doe Lawson on the morning show Eboboba on Homebase tv.
According to the Bishop Amoateng, the churches need to find a way to accommodate the celebrities or stars.
“I don’t know Ebony or heard any of her songs but I asked around and I was told who she is and the controversies surrounding her brand. I was also told she is very young, this means God has a purpose for her. Ghanaians especially Christians need to open their doors and accommodate Ebony and the other celebrities because they all started from the church. There is no need to sack them into the world; if you do that they only be influenced by the things of the world”.
He also asked Ghanaians to appreciate the talents of the celebrities in the society; musicians, actors comedians among others.
“God gave them the talent and they are using it best as they could to sing, act movies and make jokes. Whatever be the case we need to appreciate their talents because God gave it to them. It is a God-given gift. They can’t steal or rob but rather they can use their talent” he added.
For this reason, General Overseer of House of Miracle (HOM) has organized a programme, dubbed ‘Stars In Worship’ on December 9, 2017 in his church at exactly 3pm.
He went on to explained that the event was put together to bring stars in Ghana to celebrate God’s goodness in their lives and for helping them to become stars.
He revealed that he has invited musicians, actors and actresses and comedians from Ghana, Nigeria and USA. Celebrities such as Desmond Eliott, Emeka Ike, Cheoma Akpotha, Mr. Ibu, Funny Face, Aboki for Christ, Wille and Mike, SP Kofi Sarpong, Joselyn Dumas, Emelia Brobbey, Nana Ama McBrown, Dabo, Jackie Appiah, Bismark the Joke, Fiifi Folson and many more stars will attend this year’s ‘Stars In Worship’.
He also extended an invitation to Ghanaians to attend his annual prayer, worship and impartation programme dubbed ‘December 2 Remember’ which will take place from the 3rd December- 10th December at the House of Miracle (HOM) auditorium at Madina.
