As the good of Brong Ahafo region struggle to recover from the shock received through the infamous “DKM, Jastar, God is Love” saga where thousands of innocent investors were swindled of their monies, there seem to be a new trend of investment emerging this time round with a more technological mode of operation.
The youths of Brong Ahafo region have thronged to doubling their monies (100% interests) by the month or week and even others by the day depending on how much one invests with these faceless investment companies operating through the internet and transactions done via money transfers on the telephone.
This worrisome trend has attracted the attention of many to caution people getting involved in the seemingly dangerous business and the latest to add his voice is Elder Emmanuel Kennedy Amankwaah the National President of the Ghana Co–operative Susu Collectors Association.
He spoke in an interview with the Media during the association’s regional Annual General Meeting held in Techiman.
Mr. E. K. Amankwaah who is also the C.E.O of God is Perfect Microfinance (GIPS) called on Ghana’s financial regulator to act immediately to stop these Ponzi Schemes in the region before they get out of hand to cause the troubles the infamous “DKM, Jastar, God is Love” investments saga caused in the country.
